These webpages were originally created for "Tool Time for Math," a television program produced by the Lubbock Independent School District (Texas) for students, parents, and teachers. This website was used during the Summer of 1997 for an inservice workshop on Mathematics and the Internet shown on LISD TV, and is still used for technology workshops in Texas for K-12 mathematics teachers. Last updated 4/23/2000.

  3. Mathematics Lessons Database: Maintained by the University of Illinois at Urbana, searchable, lessons all use the internet in some way. Perhaps the best resource for finding online internet math lesson ideas!
  4. MegaMath: Rated an "A+" site by Classroom Connect in 1996, this site includes a wide variety of mathematics activities and lessons. Each is specifically linked to NCTM standards.
  5. Lesson Plan Examples:
    • The Mathematics of Map Coloring: Includes online literature to supplement lessons, excellent activities and lesson plans, vocabulary, etc.
    • Games on Graphs: Helps students understand graphing concepts
    • Math Magic: An online competition developed in El Paso, Texas, for K-12 students and teachers.

  2. Ask Dr Math: Search the archives for the answer to a K-12 math question or post your own.
